Marv Sassler, Inventor of the Dynamic Sweet Spot racket
A lightweight fluid partially fills two channels located around the inside circumference of the racket frame. This fluid moves freely within the channels to reduce twist caused by off-center-hits.
When the ball is hit off-center, the fluid accelerates toward the opposite side of the racket. This fluid motion generates a gyroscopic action that helps reduce racket twist.
In addition, the moving fluid creates a dynamic “Sweet
Spot” that spreads toward the point of impact. It also absorbs vibrations
on all hits; on or off-center. This gives the Dynaspot racket a soft, comfortable
feel that reduces your muscle fatigue during play.
On-center hits do not affect the fluid, so all energy is used to return the
ball. More of the head mass is located at the tip of the racket and energy
is transferred to the ball more efficiently. This makes the moveable mass racket
more powerful than equal weight conventional rackets.
